About
I started a full-time career in the music business in 2008, and since then, I’ve played thousands of gigs with all sorts of bands. For original music, most recently I was the pianist/keyboardist in Serotonic (funk/jam) and Acme Jazz Garage (jazz/blues). I also composed, arranged, and produced songs for both of those bands. I’ve played in various combos, wedding/corporate bands, and as a solo pianist. From the classiest ballrooms to the dingiest bars, I’ve played music spanning many genres with some amazing people. I am currently based in upstate New York, and I’m available for gigs, lessons, accompaniment, session work, arrangements, transcriptions, and more! Please contact me for more details.

“The album's acme, if you will, is the Steely Dan-esque 'Resonance' [composed by Bryan Lewis].” -Relix Magazine
“...the album's star might be keyboardist Bryan Lewis, whose organ shimmies to life on the joyous Resonance and a faithfully bluesy take on America the Beautiful.” -Tampa Bay Times
“Springs Piano Interlude No. 1 is the first of three improvisations by Lewis, a true keyboard wizard. The Steinway at The Springs Theatre is magical, and after Lewis sat down during a break in the action to play, it was so impressive that they captured several others.” -Music Fest News
“And dig how Bryan's lyricism is transformed when he turns to the Hammond B-3 organ! His organ and piano together enrich Barry Manilow's ‘When October Goes’" Howard Mandel, Jazz Journalists Association
“Bryan Lewis is outstanding on the Steinway grand piano” -Toledo Blade
“Lewis’ re-harmonization and B-3 mastery fuel the band’s gospel-tinged exploration of Joe Zawinul’s ‘Mercy, Mercy, Mercy.’” -Ken Franckling’s Jazz Notes
“[Acme Jazz Garage’s] new CD, Sharkskin, features 12 numbers, mostly originals written by guitarist Matt Swenson, bassist Philip Booth and pianist Bryan Lewis. The first three cuts alone are worth the price of admission – Sharkskin Suit, Watching the River Flow and Rumba Misterioso – and the sleeper When October Goes [arranged by Lewis] anchors everything around it.” -Arts Coast Magazine
“Lewis stands out on the Hammond B3 organ, funk dripping from every note.” -Tie Your Shoes Reviews
